Free Peppa Pig in Finnish with Transcripts + English Subtitles (and How I Found It)

Are you looking for free Finnish listening resources as an intermediate learner?

Some hero behind YouTube channel JSToJestJaSam has transcribed and translated a few Peppa Pig episodes to make you and me, desperate learners, some comprehensible audio input.

I did hope they'd make some more. But after watching several episodes, I was reminded that we never need tons of different materials to learn a language. Progress comes from... repetition.

Keep watching and rewatching until you fully understand every word in those videos.

Then, you may search for other materials, which is such an endeavor because audible content in easy Finnish for our level is scarce.

But my trick may works again if in the future new contents are uploaded. The trick is to search in Finnish, not English or your native language.

Even if you hasn't learned the words for your desired topics, use Google Translate to get the words and throw them in the search bar.

That's what I did to find this precious subbed Pipsa Possu playlist. By the time, I did know the word "tekstitys" and I still don't remember it now. But it helped the search engine understand my need and indexed me this treasure.
