What job should I take?? must be the most recurring question in my early adulthood.
Until I reached a line in chapter What Should I Do with My Life? in The Art of Saving the Planet by Thich Nhat Hanh:
"Anything is good. It depends on how you do it, not what you do."
It hit me hard. My question has changed, forever.
What do I want to be?
How do I want to be?
This question reminds me of a touching scene in The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse (2022). If you have watched it, you definitely get which one I'm talking about.
The Boy gave a beautiful answer.
But I won't copy it. I must connect with my true self and get my own answer.
I like to... do things with calmness and mindfulness. In other words, with patience, confidence, and full attention.
